About the Role:

To have the necessary skills ad experience as a supervising social worker in fostering, to complete full assessments and supervise foster carers. To see assessments through to panel for recruited carers as well as newly approved carers following their first annual review. To support recruited fostering duty team and be prepared to be officed based a few days each week. To attend all relevant training and meetings, work within timescales and ensure data is compliant. The teams are quite busy so the role may be used across the recruited teams to support but the main focus will be assessment and duty support. Additional tasks may be requested in relation to recruitment, retention and training
