About the Role:

Blackburn with Darwen Children’s Services who were graded ‘good’ in its ILACS Ofsted inspection, require 2 full time agency social workers to cover in its Family Help service carrying out single assessments and holding complex CIN and CP cases. 

The candidate will have at least 3 years post qualification experience in assessment and/or longer term safeguarding/CP work.



The candidate must have a SWE registration and be a car driver, with previous experience of the use of Liquid Logic Childrens system an advantage.

You must have good communication skills and be a team worker with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.

There will be both office-based working and home working arrangements as per the service requirements so you will be required to work flexibly and with a requirement to be office based 3 days per week as a minimum.

5 years reference, gaps in employment history checked, any relevant quals as per JDPS
